TEDxFoCo #3 wrapped on 5/5/13: Life Worth Living
Our community and others very much like ours have been affected by profound violence. Knowledge, Love, and Freedom are essential to a peaceful society. To that end, we’ve gathered some of the best and brightest minds in our community to talk on the topic of Life Worth Living, each speaker taking on the topic in their own unique way.
How we pick Speakers:
We aim for a speaker lineup that cuts across age and gender, including both the prominent and well-known in Northern Colorado as well as those who are making a difference beneath the radar. People who are shifting the edge and challenge conventional thinking by inspiring themselves and others to act. Every talk is be presented by someone who’s done the life’s work needed to share a TEDx talk.

What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxFoCo, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxFoCo event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
